Giving Trunk Foundation (formerly Giving Trunk Co.) was founded by Terri Arenas in 2016.  Terri dedicated 25 years in law enforcement, working directly with children who fell victim to the epidemics of sexual abuse and sexual exploitation.  A survivor of childhood sexual assault herself, she knows firsthand that the physical wounds heal, but the psychological and emotional trauma can last a lifetime, requiring ongoing therapy and support.

Terri's path, unbeknownst to her, was written long ago.  Her unwavering determination to help children be heard, believed, supported, and healed is undeniable.  After working with victims and their families it became increasingly clear to her that she could do more.

With that, Giving Trunk Foundation was born.
